How this works — Video gallery

Categorised video embeds where only a URL is stored — the player comes from oEmbed.

Each video record holds nothing but a URL. wp_oembed_get() resolves that to a responsive player at render time, so switching provider (or a provider changing its embed code) needs no data change. A hierarchical taxonomy groups clips into categories.
